Dr. Kelli McCain

Dr. Kelli McCain currently holds the position of Cluster Superintendent within the Division of School Improvement and Operations. Her journey in GCPS began as an elementary school teacher, with additional teaching experience acquired in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. McCain’s administrative roles have included Assistant Principal at both Magill Elementary and Grayson Elementary Schools in Lawrenceville, Ga., Gwinnett County. She has also led as Principal at Meadowcreek Elementary School and Partee Elementary School. Dr. McCain’s academic credentials comprise a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati, a specialist’s degree from Lincoln Memorial University, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Mercer University. Since 1996, Dr. McCain has been dedicated to serving the students, staff, and community of Gwinnett.
